LA CASA NEL PARCO, a research project on home hospitalisation, is started up in Turin. It is carried out by a consortium made up of fifteen companies, the University and Polytechnic of Turin, Collegio Carlo Alberto, Fondazione ISI and the Città della Salute e della Scienza di Torino, Ospedale Maggiore della Carità di Novara, San Luigi di Orbassano and Fondazione Don Gnocchi hospitals.

The project won, first in the ranking, the call for proposals "Piattaforma Tecnologica Salute e Benessere" of the Regione Piemonte.

The project has a total value of euro 11.5 million and is co-financed with euro 5.5 million by the Regione Piemonye with funds from the POR FESR 2014-2020.

LA CASA NEL PARCO will develop a new computer-based organisational model to manage all phases of home hospitalisation.

Starting from the more than ten-year experience of Città della Salute, LA CASA NEL PARCO will build an IT solution to support doctors and patients by bringing together Internet of Medical Things technologies to be placed in patients' homes, Artificial Intelligence and process management.

LA CASA NEL PARCO will adopt a collaborative approach involving citizens, patients and medical professionals in the design of services and will also develop tools for the participative design of the new Parco della Salute, della Ricerca e della Innovazione.

The participatory process will be supported by the FirstLife platform, a social network developed by the Department of Computer Science of the University of Turin, based on an interactive map and already used in various initiatives on the territory.

Agile Lab is proud to take part in this project, contributing to the achievement of the objectives set through the use of its Wasp platform, thanks to which it can effectively manage the integration of Big Data components.
