Nifi & Darwin - Meetup Bologna - 9 luglio 2019

On 9th July 2019, at 7:30 PM, in Bologna, at Luogocomune Coworking, via Matteotti, we have planned our next MeetUp.

As usual, it will host two talks:
Talk 1 - "Nifi: An easy to use, powerful, and reliable system to process and distribute data" - Antonio Murgia, Big Data Engineer @ AgileLab, Apache Spark committer
NiFi is a novel open source product for data integration that features a smooth learning curve thanks to its easy to use web interface. But don’t be fooled by its smooth user interface, NiFi is a complete product that supports clustering, parallelization, fine grained prioritization and extensibility.
Talk 2 - Darwin: Avro Schema Evolution made easy! - Change Data Capture implementation for Apache HBase - Lorenzo Pirazzini, Big Data Engineer @ AgileLab
Darwin is the most configurable and easy to use way to maintain a repository of Apache Avro schema. It enables Avro schema evolution with minimum effort, is easily extensible and completely open source software!
Between and after the talks there will be time to discuss, socialize, gather proposals and suggestions for the next meetups, and obviously a couple of beers to digest the concept we've just assimilated!
